Update: Zomato has expanded its paid subscription product ‘Zomato Gold’ to Nagpur, Lucknow, Indore and Ludhiana. The company has already registered 62000 pre-registerations to join the program across these four cities. With this, the product is now available in 14 cities in India- Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow, Indore, and Ludhiana. Outside India, Zomato Gold is available across UAE and Portugal and is slated to launch in Australia, Philippines, and Indonesia later this year. With Zomato Gold's latest launch in Chennai, the product is now available in ten cities in India- Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Kolkata. The company said that Zomato Gold has 3,50,000 members overall. Zomato Gold allows a customer, depending on the restaurant, a complimentary food item of the same or lower value as the food item ordered, or 2 complimentary drinks for every 2 drinks ordered. The complimentary drink will be the same as what has been ordered and is not applicable to pitchers, buckets and full bottles.
