NDTV names Suparna Singh as its CEO, and Saurav Banerjee as the co-CEO

NDTV has announced three new appointments, it announced with stock exchange filings. It named Suparna Singh, who is currently CEO of NDTV Convergence Limited, as the new CEO of the group. Along with her, the company has also elevated the Group CFO and Director, Finance Saurav Banerjee as the co-CEO of the NDTV Group. Also, the company has also appointed Ravi Asawa as the group's new CFO. The development comes two weeks after demise of KVL Narayan Rao, Group CEO, and Executive Vice Chairman of the company. Singh has been with NDTV since 1994, and has worked on various leadership roles at the company. Suparna holds a degree of Master’s in Television, Radio and Film from Syracuse University. Banerjee had joined the company in 2003, and since then he has worked on several positions. Before joining NDTV, he was working in Global Capital Market Group of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC). His professional career began as a Trainee Accountant in Lovelock and Lewis (now a part of PwC). Banerjee has also studied a management programme from Harvard Business School. According to Asawa's Linkedin profile, he was serving as CFO NDTV's ecommerce platform IndianRoots.com till now. He had joined NDTV as a VP-Finance in 2008.
