Idea Cellular today launched a bouquet of online services including music streaming service Idea Music Lounge, subscription-based Video streaming service Idea Movie Club and gaming portal Idea Games Spark. The details of each service and how its stacks up against existing players are given below. Idea Music Lounge is priced at Rs 49 a month which offers unlimited downloads. However, this is being offered for free until 31st March 2017. Music Lounge has a library of 2 million tracks from International artists, Bollywood, and 13 Indian languages. It is available for download on Google's Play Store as of now. Idea Movie Club, a video streaming service is also priced at Rs 49 per month with free promotional access to all Idea customers till March 31st, 2017. The service claims to have over 4000 movies, 90+ Live TV channels, 1000+ TV shows and other curated videos. The app can be downloaded on iOS and Google Play. Idea Games Spark is a mobile gaming portal that offers over 1,500 game listings, which can be accessed by non-Idea users as well. Games are available on a monthly subscription basis (at Rs 29 per month) and the company plans to introduce different tariff models such as pay per download and freemium in the future. Idea’s competitor Airtel recently unveiled bundle of apps and content through partnerships with video streaming service Ditto TV and online publisher Juggernaut Books.
