Craftsvilla appoints Manish Kalra as chief business officer E-commerce firm Craftsvilla recently appointed Manish Kalra as its chief business officer, reports Livemint. Previously, Kalra was the director of integrated marketing at Amazon India; he handled the overall marketing section, building key Amazon brands such as Junglee.com and Kindle in the country. He also worked with MakeMyTrip where he actively managed teams, as well as crucial marketing roles. With his entry into Craftsvilla, Kalra shall play key a role in binding together critical growth functions including overall marketing, product, supply, category management and merchandising. *** JS Deepak to replace Rakesh Garg as new DoT secretary JS Deepak recently took charge as the Telecom Secretary, replacing Rakesh Garg, reports CNBC. Garg will be shifted to Minority Affairs Ministry, the report added. JS Deepak is a 1982 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, and will assume responsibility of monitoring the progress of the Digital India programme and check the problem of call drops. Deepak previously was the Secretary for the Department of Electronics and Information.
