Mobile marketing company Tune to increase focus on India in 2015

Enterprise software-as-a-service provider for mobile marketing companies Tune’s affiliate tracking software HasOffers has registered triple-digit growth in India in 2014. The company has mentioned that it’ll be increasing its focus on the Indian market in 2015. In 2014, it reported $40 million revenues, an increase of 110.6% from $19 million in 2013, in which “India has been a big reason” according to Tune GM Cameron Stewart.

Currently, Tune works with over 300 online companies, ad networks and advertisers in India, including Snapdeal, eBay India, InMobi, Tyroo, ShopClues, CouponDunia, Komli, MakeMyTrip, Cleartrip and Vdopia among others. The company claimed that in 2014 it recorded over 250% increase in its business partnerships in India. Tune’s Korea and Tel Aviv teams services its clients in India.

Tune raised $27 million from Icon Ventures, Performance Equity Management and Accel Partners in January 2015. It had earlier raised $9.4 million from Accel Partners in May 2013.

What does Tune offer?

The two main products offered by Tune are HasOffers and MobileAppTracking:

HasOffers: This allows companies to track campaigns in real-time and manage publisher & affiliate relationships. It can also be used to generate invoices and manage payouts. Learn more about its features here. There are three pricing options for HasOffers: $279/month for the Pro pack, $799/month for the Enterprise pack and price-on-request for the Custom Volume pack. Some companies that use HasOffers include Tyroo, Revi Media and YeahMobi among others.

MobileAppTracking: This allows mobile app companies to track in-app advertisement performance and reach. It’s already integrated with a number of ad networks and publishers (complete list here). So, app developers don’t need to integrate any separate advertising SDK, which is major hurdle for mobile app marketing. There are two pricing models: Startup pricing, which allows companies to track up to 50,000 attributions free every month and charges $0.002 per attribution over 50,000, and Volume pricing, free till 2 million attributions every month and charges $0.001 per attribution over 2 million. Some companies using MobileApptracking include names like Spotify, Uber and Square among others.

Founded by brothers Lucas and Lee Brown in February 2009, Tune currently has 7 offices across the globe, including at Seattle, San Francisco, New York City, London, Berlin, Seoul and Tel Aviv. The company, which was originally known as HasOffers, rebranded to Tune in July 2014.
