Super introduces Tinder-like features for employers and potential candidates

Mobile resume builder app ‘Super’ has introduced Tinder-like features for employers and job seekers reports YourStory. The new feature essentially lets employers and candidates swipe through each other's profiles and ‘like’ them by swiping right. If both employer and candidate ‘like’ each others profiles, the app will connect them over email. Companies and users have to first create profiles when they login into the app, this includes companies having to upload pictures of the office along with other profile data and users having to create a resume. According to the startup, it will eventually include a chat feature, so users can live chat with potential employers before meeting them. The app is available for both Android and iOS. We tried out the app as an employer and candidate, but profiles take time to verify for employers before they can use the tinder-like feature. As candidates however, we couldn't find a single employer for the position of a writer in our area, and herein lies the problem. The app is used world over by candidates having very different profiles. Unless Super can significantly ramp up the number of employers on board, it won't be a reliable platform to find jobs and it won’t be seen as such. Super however currently claims it has over 100 companies on board as a part of its closed beta including Webengage, Wingify, Helpshift, Flatchat, Zepo, Haptik and Grabhouse.
