Lindsay Pattison has replaced Vikram Sakhuja as the Global CEO of media buying agency Maxus. Sakhuja will remain with the group, the company has said in a statement, without specifying what exactly his role in the company will be. Pattison was heading Maxus in the UK, for a period of 5 years, and also held the global Chief Strategy Officer role for the last two years, overseeing product, planning, marketing, new business and effectiveness. Pattison will co-locate between London and New York and will report to GroupM’s Global President Dominic Proctor. Sakhuja had been named Maxus CEO in 2012, before which he was CEO South Asia for GroupM, for a period of six and a half years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He had joined GroupM in 2002 as Managing Director of Mindshare Fulcrum, and was promoted to the position of Managing Director of Mindshare South Asia, and subsequently to the CEO position.
