Tanla Solutions's mobile social gaming platform GameOn's first deployment: Electronic Arts's 'Need For Speed – The Run' went live last month, the company has disclosed in its earnings results for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. This is the first deployment for GameOn after its announcement in the previous quarter. Tanla claimed that the game was launched with two telcos on two Nokia Asha handsets and registered a daily user acquisition rate of more than 120% and an increase in virtual transactions by more than 63% on a daily basis. However, it hasn't disclosed any specific information on who these telcos were and on which handsets were these games deployed on. Update: Tanla has informed that it has deployed GameOn on Airtel and Reliance in India with Nokia Asha 311 and Nokia Asha 501. Following this launch, Tanla now plans to launch the game on all Nokia Asha handset models across the world and also add two new games to the GameOn platform by the next quarter (Q3-FY14). In the previous quarter, Tanla had mentioned that it plans to add at least 10 games to the platform by the end of FY 2014. Launched earlier this year, GameOn allows gamers to challenge their friends, participate in gaming challenges, battles and tournaments, create their own live battles and others. It also allows gamers to make in-app purchases to buy power-ups, virtual cash and other paid features. Other features include global leader boards and social interaction among others.
