GENESYS International Corporation, the parent company of recently launched street-view portal WoNoBo, has reported an operational income of Rs 23.05 crores for the quarter ending September 30, 2013 (Q2-FY14), down 23.60% from Rs 30.17 crores reported at the end of June 30, 2013 (Q1-FY14) and down 24.15% from Rs 30.39 crores reported at the end of the same quarter last year (Q2-FY13). The company has reported a net profit of Rs 4.57 crores at the end of Q2-FY14, down 38.24% from Rs 7.40 reported at the end of Q1-FY14 and down 8.77% from Rs 5.01 crores reported at the end of the same quarter last year. WoNoBo was launched by A. N. Virtual World Tech Ltd, offering a 3D view of cities, similar to Google's street view. It was incubated by the company at a cost of around $35 million. Started in 1995 with headquarters in Mumbai, GENESYS offers Geographical Information System (GIS) and Geospatial Engineering services to businesses, government and consumers. GENESYS has 2000 employees, across operations in USA, UK, Europe and UAE with clients in USA, Europe, New Zealand, UAE and India.
