Update: Sources inform MediaNama that Pattajoshi is joining SVG Media. Earlier (August 14th 2013): Senior level departures at sales at Yahoo India: Vishal Maheshwari, Sr Director and Head of Monetization at Yahoo India and Chandrabhanu Pattajoshi, Head of Sales Strategy are leaving the company, a Yahoo India spokesperson has confirmed to MediaNama. According to his LinkedIn profile, Maheshwari has been with Yahoo India for over 8 years, joining initially as Director (Mobile) in January 2005 from BPL Mobile (now Loop Mobile). In 2008, he was made Senior Director for Mobile and Business Development for India and APAC, and earlier this year, appointed to his current position, essentially heading monetization at Yahoo India. Maheshwari, we hear, will be leaving the company by the end of this month, although Yahoo says that no specific timeline has been fixed. Where he's headed is not known. Pattajoshi has been with Yahoo India for almost six years, and was heading Sales Strategy at the company. He had joined from Radio One, where he was Head of Sales for Mumbai and Bangalore, before which he was heading regional sales in Bengaluru for STAR TV. There appear to be significant changes afoot at Yahoo India, especially since Arun Tadanki, who was MD of Yahoo India & SEA, left the company in February, what with head of marketing Nitin Mathur moving to Singapore (albeit still in the same role), and now Maheshwari and Pattajoshi leaving the company. We're awaiting information from Yahoo on who will take over Maheshwari…
