OnMobile Appoints Sanjay Bhambri as Chief Commercial Officer

Sanjay Bhambri has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at OnMobile Global. Bhambri will be, according to OnMobile, the “global Client Facing Unit head for the company and will lead teams in Emerging markets, LATAM, Europe & North America.” He has been associated with OnMobile for over six years, and was among those who returned to the company following a leadership change after Arvind Rao quit: Bhambri had rejoined OnMobile last year as Regional VP (Emerging Markets), looking after India Private Operators and APAC, Middle East & Africa regions.

Prior to re-joining OnMobile, Bhambri worked as Senior Vice President – Infrastructure Solutions at Enzen Global Solutions. Before that he worked with OnMobile and in his previous stint with the company, he served as Vice President – APAC & MEA.

OnMobile Global Appoints Sanjay Bhambri as Chief Commercial Officer

India, July 15, 2013: OnMobile Global Limited, the leading provider of telecom value-added services (VAS), today announced the appointment of Sanjay Bhambri as Chief Commercial Officer, OnMobile.

In this role, Sanjay will be the global Client Facing Unit head for the company and will lead teams in Emerging markets, LATAM, Europe & North America. Sanjay rejoined OnMobile a year ago, as Regional Vice President, Emerging Markets. He has been handling OnMobile’s engagements with India, APAC, Middle East and Africa and played a critical role in driving growth and streamlining operations in these geographies.

Previously, Sanjay led OnMobile’s foray into the APAC & MEA region and was also responsible for India Operators for a short period. He was instrumental in establishing a strong Sales & Marketing and Delivery & Operations function in the APAC & MEA regions.

Sanjay possesses an MBA from FMS, MS University and comes with almost 20 years of strong industry experience. He excels at playing strategic roles in organization growth within a changing global business/economic environment and across varied industries like IT, Satellite Services, Travel, Telecom, VAS and Energy utilities. His core strengths include driving increased revenue & profitability growth, new customer acquisition, new market development and building successful regional organizations.
