Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd (TTML) has reported losses of Rs 183.71 crore for the quarter ending September 30th, 2012, a 41.1% increase from the loss of Rs 130.21 crore reported for the same quarter last year. The company reported total revenues of Rs 652 crore, a 5% growth from Rs 620 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal. The EBIDTA stood at Rs 109 crore from the quarter. The company did not offer any details on the contribution of VAS and Data Revenues to its total wireless revenues for the quarter. Tata Teleservices’ VAS and Data Revenues segment include earnings from its EVDO based (USB data card) connectivity business (Tata Photon), where the company is a leading player, along with Reliance Communications and MTS India. TTML is the sister company of Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL), and is operational in Goa, Maharashtra and Mumbai circles, and while TTSL is not listed, the two companies operate mobile services under the Tata Docomo brand. Other highlights: - Focusing on high value customers, Tata DOCOMO launched postpay plans of Rs 899 and 1299 to offer unlimited voice calls and data services on a monthly basis.
