Online travel agent, Cleartrip has appointed Samyukth Sridharan as President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Samyukth will be responsible for providing leadership across the businesses. He takes over from PKX Thomas, who took over as COO in 2009. Thomas will now be responsible for Special Projects. With this move, both Sridharan and Jae Hyung Kim will serve as Presidents in addition to their respective roles. The company had appointed Kim as President and Head of Business Development in August 2011. Prior to Cleartrip, Sridharan served as Chief Commercial Officer at Spicejet, looking after business expansion. Before joining Spicejet in 2007, he worked as Chief Revenue Officer & Head of Marketing at Air Deccan. He's also had stints with ING Vysya Life Insurance, BPL soft Energy Systems, Coca Cola India, Lintas India and Godrej GE Appliances.
