Updated: Industry Moves: TV Today, Zapak, Cable & Wireless Worldwide, Rediff

The TV Today Network has made three appointments in its AdSales, International Distribution and HR divisions.

– Rahul Kumar Shaw becomes the new Vice President – Ad Sales, Headlines Today. He would be reporting to Rajneesh Rikhy, Senior Vice President – Ad Sales & Business Head – Headlines Today. Shaw has previously worked with ZEEL, INX News Pvt Ltd., NDTV Imagine Pvt. Ltd., Star India Pvt. Ltd, Set India Pvt Ltd., Turner International Pvt. Ltd., & Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd.

– Vikram Das comes on board as the General Manager, International Distribution. He has previously worked with organizations such as Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt. Ltd, Star Limited – Dubai, U.A.E & ABN Amro Bank. Das will head the international distribution of TV Today Network. He will be reporting to Joy Chakroborthy, CEO, TV Today Network.

– Devleena Majumder joins as General Manager, HR. Prior to this, she has worked with Viacom 18, ZEN Ltd, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, IBM Daksh, Wipro Spectramind & Transworld Group of Companies. She will be responsible for the human resource function and will report to Joy Chakroborthy.

Siddharth Kelkar of Zapak, has resigned from the position of Head of advergames and digital solutions. Kelkar has been with the company for five years and was initially serving as the Regional Head, West and East. He has been responsible for managing regional sales social media, activation, advergaming and digital solutions for brands like Cadburys, P&G and Parle-G . Before Zapak, he has worked with Bennett Coleman and Co, Hindustan Times and Network18.

Darren Webb has joined  Cable &Wireless Worldwide as the Managing Director for Asia Pacific. He would be responsible to carry out enterprise and carrier sales, service delivery, marketing, finance and people functions. After this appointment, he will be residing in Singapore and will retain his current designation of Director of Global Enterprise Sales. Webb had the joined the company in 1996 and has been with the company for 15 years. He has held various sales and management positions with the company. He will report to Nick Lambert, Managing Director – Wholesale, Mid-market and Global Markets.

Rediff.com has appointed Swasti Bhowmick as Chief Financial Officer replacing Jayesh Sanghrajka. Bhowmik will oversee all global finance functions and have direct responsibility for leading all corporate accounting, tax, investor relations and treasury activities and will report to company CEO Ajit Balakrishnan. He was previously with Tata Teleservices.
