UTV group company Indiagames has formally announced the launch of three Bollywood based games - Kaminey, Quick Gun Murugun and Aagey Se Right - for the mobile. Indiagames COO Samir Bangara had told us last month about game based on Kaminey already being live. The company had plans to launch Bioshock, Pentago, Mercury Meltdown (from sister company Ignition), apart from games based on the entire UTV portfolio, including Aage Se Right and What’s Your Raashi. The games for Kaminey, Aagey Se Right and Quick Gun Murugun have been made available on operator decks and on the Indiagames' WAP site. Accessing the site via mobile, I found the games for Kaminey and Aagey Se Right, but despite viewing through all 12-13 pages (showcasing 6 games each), couldn't locate the game for Quick Gun Murugun, which I wanted to buy. Kaminey and Aagey Se Right are priced at Rs. 99 each when accessed via the mobile (I'm an Airtel subscriber), while if the WAP site is accessed via the web (Kaminey, Aagey Se Right), they're priced at Rs. 50. Of the three games, Kaminey and Aage Se Right are based on films of the same name from Indiagames' sister company UTV Motion Pictures. Bangara had told MediaNama that this fiscal, Indiagames intends to launch Bioshock, Pentago, Mercury Meltdown (from sister company Ignition), apart from games based on the entire UTV portfolio, including Aage Se Right and What’s Your Raashi.Indiagames reported a turnover of Rs. 46.4 crores and a profit-after-tax of Rs. 22.4 lakhs for the year ending 31st March 2009.
