Gagan Arora, the cofounder and CEO of Printvenue has left the company, reports ET. Arora has quit to start up by founding Randomalgo (not yet live), which builds analytics products for ecommerce, using machine learning. According to the report, the startup is bootstrapped as of now, but is testing its product within and outside the Rocket Internet group. Arora co-founded Printvenue with Saurabh Kochhar, who is also the chairman of Printvenue, in 2012. He was the CEO of Printvenue for 5 months, before which he worked as the company’s CMO for 2.5 years. Prior to that, he was a manager at Accenture for just over a year and a consultant with the same company for 2.5 years. At Accenture, Arora also worked as an analyst for 2 years, before which he was a senior analyst at AbsolutData Research & Analytics for over a year. Arora took over the CEO position at Printvenue after Rocket Internet-backed online food ordering service Foodpanda appointed Saurabh Kochhar as its India CEO and chief business officer of global operations in May this year. In September last year, Printvenue launched operations in Australia, with plans of expansion to Southeast Asia and the Middle East. It started international operations in 2013 by setting up an office in Singapore in June. In January last year, the company had mentioned that 15% of the company’s total revenue came from Singapore then.
