Jabong has appointed Jai Vohra to head women’s fashion at the platform, replacing Manjula Tiwari, reports ET Tech. He also heads Jabong’s sourcing business. Vohra previously worked as the director and business head for Jabong’s marketplace for 6 months, before which he was the director of projects for two years. Vohra worked as an associate at A T Kearney for almost 4 years and before that, he worked as the area sales manager at Tata Motors for about 3 years. Vohra told the publication that Jabong will focus on assortment expansion and build tie ups, also with international brands for expansion. His predecessor Tiwari will reportedly be joining the Future Group. **** Flipkart has hired Sudhir Sitapati as an advisory member of the board for its commerce platform, reports ET. According to Sitapati’s LinkedIn profile, he currently works as the general manager of skin cleansing at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), while ET reports him to be the VP of consumer goods like tea, coffee and ice cream at HUL across South Asia and Africa. Sitapati will mentor and coach Flipkart’s marketing team. Flipkart is also reportedly looking for 3 other advisory board members with skills related to leadership strategy, tech and operations, to join the company over the coming year. **** Snapdeal has appointed Dharmendra Panwar as VP of internal controls and risk assurance, reports ET.
