Bangalore-based programmatic advertising technology provider Ozone Media has appointed Raj Beri as its chief operating officer (COO). At his new position, Beri will oversee the company’s engineering, product development and day-to-day operations. Beri will be a part of the executive leadership team at Ozone Media and will be responsible for scaling its operations, supervising engineering, customer service, product, HR and account management. He will additionally focus on speeding up the ‘time-to-market’ of new products, and will be involved in strategic planning. According to Ozone, his extensive experience will help bring new insights for the development of the creative optimization product Adadyn. Prior to Ozone, Beri co-founded the online travel startup WarderWe, and served as the vice president and general manager of the online travel group Oversee.net. At Oversee.net, Beri oversaw programmatic media buying and planning and managed spends worth over $10 million per year for dynamic campaigns. He also served as the COO of Travelocity’s business unit IgoUgo, and as the director of Global Digital Strategy at McGraw-Hill companies. Beri has over 12 years of experience in advertising and digital media industries, and is credited with growing and building successful online media companies. As of now, Beri also servers on the Advisory Board of tours and activities platform AdventureLink.
