The previous version OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion was priced at $19.99 while OS X 10.7 Lion was priced at $29.99. The company had earlier refreshed its MacBook Air lineup in June 2013. The new 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro is thinner and lighter than its predecessors, with 0.71-inches thickness and 3.46 pounds weight. It runs on fourth generation Intel Haswell processor, 4GB RAM, support for Thunderbolt 2, reported 9 hours of battery life and up to nine hours of iTunes movie playback.
