Checkintonight has launched a quick hotel booking service that offers last-minute niche hotel deals for same day and next day bookings. The website essentially targets business travelers who usually don't make advance bookings, and leisure travellers looking for a weekend getaways. Checkintonight says that it does not have any deadline (with respect to time) for same day booking. The service is currently available in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Goa, Bangalore, and Chennai. Portal: The website allows users to register via Facebook connect or by submitting their email address and password. Upon registering, customers can search for hotels in a particular city and book deals for the same day or the next day. Currently, users can book a stay up to 9 nights. The website provides an overview, facilities available, maps, and photos of the hotel selected. Maps can also be used to get directions from the user's current location. Apart from that, users can check booking info by a tracking ID. The company mentions that unless otherwise indicated, all funds paid to CheckInTonight are non-refundable. Abhyuday Prashad, founder of Checkintonight, informed MediaNama that they have tied up directly with all hotels listed on the portal, and that they offer a select list of hotels based on quality/standard of the hotel as well as their willingness to provide discounted prices.
