Social media marketing and analytics company Salorix has raised $3.5 million in a series A funding round co-led by Inventus Capital Partners and Nexus Venture Partners. According to a statement from the company, it intends to use this investment to improve its technology development efforts and expand its existing solution sets. Launched in 2009, Salorix is a social media marketing and analytics company which works with brands and agencies to assist them in managing their social media engagement campaigns. It offers a social marketing platform which allows brands to setup campaigns and provide analytics to track them in an unified user interface. The platform currently supports multiple social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other blogs and websites. It also provides a suite of solutions to help brands in social listening and engagement, campaign strategy and management, and custom analytics and optimization. Salorix is headquartered in Santa Clara, California with offices in New York and Bangalore, India. Its customers include HP/Palm, Nielsen, advertisers such as Blue Shield of California, AARP; media agencies such as MediaCom, OMD, and Universal McCann; and publishers such as United Online and Interactive One.
