Sportz Interactive Gets New CEO; Former DoubleClick Executive Joins Jivox As COO

Mumbai based digital sports content company Sportz Interactive has appointed Arvind Iyengar as CEO and Naveen Aranha who was the CEO and founder of the company will now move on to a global partnerships and growth role. Before joining Sportz Interactive, Iyengar was working with Kohlberg, Kravis & Roberts and prior to that he has worked with McKinsey & Company, ESPN STAR Sports and NBA in various roles. Sportz Interactive, a part of Chicago-headquartered STATS Global Network, has aggressive expansion plans for 2014 and it will be working various partners to bring out a suite of offerings across digital, mobile and social platforms around events such as FIFA World Cup. They are also working on second screen experiences such as fantasy sports and infographics. * Digital advertising veteran and former DoubleClick Executive Rick Kleczkowski joined Online video advertising network Jivox as Chief Operating Officer. He will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales and operations teams globally. Prior to joining Jivox, Kleczkowski was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at DBG, a video content production and distribution company acquired by Alloy Digital. He was previously Vice President, North America, Rich Media and Video Sales at DoubleClick and was instrumental in expanding its video and rich media sales to advertising agencies. He joined DoubleClick from video ad specialist Klipmart where he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development prior to its acquisition by DoubleClick.
