In a top level rejig, Flipkart’s chief technology officer Amod Malviya has relinquished active duty and head of engineering Sameer Nigam has quit the company, reports Economic Times. A spokesperson for Flipkart confirmed the development to MediaNama but declined to give further details.

At the time, former marketing chief Ravi Vora had been reassigned and tasked with ‘building consumer brands from the ground up’, while Flipkart Marketplace head Ankit Nagori also got a higher profile, and was expected to oversee general merchandise and book-retailing.
