Omar Abdullah, President of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference has decided to shut down his blog, following abusive responses to this post about the situation in Jammu, reports Mutiny.in. The post currently has no comments displayed. The blog, which has this insightful post on the controlled nature of mobile services in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, lasted just 5 months, and had 42 posts and over 900 comments. Abdullah says he's "going back to being an old school politician and you can read what I think in the newspapers." Well, if he's wanted back by popular demand (an online petition, anyone?), he might change his mind. Meanwhile, he is on Facebook, he says.
