Omar Abdullah, President of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference has decided to shut down his blog, following abusive responses to this post about the situation in Jammu, reports Mutiny.in. The post currently has no comments displayed.
The blog, which has this insightful post on the controlled nature of mobile services in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, lasted just 5 months, and had 42 posts and over 900 comments. Abdullah says he’s “going back to being an old school politician and you can read what I think in the newspapers.”
Well, if he’s wanted back by popular demand (an online petition, anyone?), he might change his mind. Meanwhile, he is on Facebook, he says.

Thanks Nikhil for bringing this to notice of even a larger audience.
All he had to do was have moderated comments or no comments. I am sure he can afford to employ someone to moderate the comments on his blog.
truth is hard to swallow & rightly he has stopped bloging as it would have led to constipation.
Otherwise he should have faced the challenges blog has presented but he too is like his father who use to stay in london in the hours of crisis and return in peace time to claim his Jammu & Kashmir which he inherited from his father as his personal asset only, as all Liablites are of the GoI.
When he started to blog definetly he should have factored these situation then making uncermonious exit from the blogging. This lack of forsightedness only tells about his immaturity, which only confirmed in his past speech in the parliament .He denounced BJP,lambasted Left but first muslin then indian can confirm that in next speech he would not again cry for having sided with Gulam N Ajad’s UPA. No diffrent from the breed we already have in abundance. No solution only rehotrics,No action only opportunism.
Salam Boss.May this kind of breed grow no further.
