Call for Application Research Fellow – The Dialogue
The Dialogue, a tech policy think-tank based out of New Delhi, is looking to hire two Research Fellow(s) starting November 2019. The fellows will lead on our research and engagement around privacy, intermediary liability, AI and ethics, e- commerce, payments and general data protection issues. The candidate(s) will be required to work from our office in New Delhi.
This is a leadership position and we are looking for someone with the ability to take initiative and lead projects. Domain expertise is ideal as well as the ability to be a high-standard generalist, who is able to marshal the various resources available to them. The candidate must have the ability to lead a team through concerted effort, focused on delivering the highest quality research in a time- bound manner.
2. Job Requirements
Post-Graduate degree holder, preferably in Economics, Development Studies or Public Policy or Law Degree Holder
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to crunch large data sets and develop insights
Work Experience – Three to Five Years
3. Job Description
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, as assigned by the board, contributing to the strategic growth of the organization
Assist in building and maintaining relations with the strategic network of The Dialogue
Design and lead on research studies and government engagement
Assist with key strategic development initiatives for The Dialogue
Execute, end-to-end, key short term and long-term projects of the
organisation, especially in the field of capacity development, engagement
Manage other projects related to The Dialogue, as needed
Compensation will be commensurate to industry standards.
