Our speakers for the discussion on How E-commerce Deliveries Evolved in 2020; February 17, 2021

We are getting ready for our discussion on how e-commerce deliveries evolved after COVID-19. We are hosting this online session tomorrow (Wed, 2 pm IST), and registrations will close today.

You can still register to attend here.

In the wake of the COVID-19 induced nationwide lock-down, e-commerce players and their logistics partners had to revamp and rethink every part of their operations. Not only did they face issues in delivering goods to their customers, but the disruptions caused by the lock-down and pandemic also impacted their human resources in terms of workers on the front-line delivery and employees at the back-end supporting their platforms. Despite the short-term negative impact, e-commerce companies restructured and re-invented themselves. Today, they are bigger, leaner and quick on their feet to adapt to post-pandemic economic environment.

Our objective is to understand the evolution of these supply chains, nationally and locally, during COVID-19, in a rapidly changing policy environment for deliveries.

MediaNama is hosting this with support from Flipkart. Stanford Alumni India Chapter (North & East) is a Community Partner and the Headstart Network is the Startup Ecosystem Partner for this session.

  • Amitesh Jha is a Senior Vice-President at Flipkart and oversees the company’s supply chain and marketplace operations. He is responsible for driving the reach of Flipkart across the country and building a strong platform for small and medium scale businesses.
