Ola last month hired Prashant Kumar, former Mumbai head of the US India Strategic Partnership Forum, as director for public policy and corporate affairs, according to a report by ET Prime. Kumar, whose LinkedIn profile shows that he joined Ola in May, will be involved in policy matters and corporate relations and will work closely with Anand Shah, head of Ola Electric Mobility, per the report. Kumar has previously worked with Observer Research Foundation, Nikkei, Kingfisher Airlines, and Aspen Institute India among others. At end of May, Ola Electric Mobility hired former CEO of Vodafone Group Arun Sarin as an independent director on its board; Sarin has been an investor in Ola (first in 2015) and in Ola Electric in its series-A funding earlier this year. Sarin also serves on the board of Ola's parent company, ANI Technologies.
