Indiankanoon.org blocked on multiple Jio connections, reportedly on govt orders

Legal developments website Indian Kanoon (indiankanoon.org) is blocked on multiple Jio connections from different areas and states. When a Twitter user first reported the block, Jio said the wesbite was blocked on a government order and the block is applicable across operators. "In this order government has given a list of sites that need to be blocked and we have complied with the same," reads Jio customer care's email to the customer. However, Indiankanoon.org is accessible other CSPs such as Airtel Delhi and Idea Delhi, and ISP Excitel Delhi. Currently, Indiankanoon is inaccessible on: Jio Assam (verified by MediaNama) Jio Delhi (verified by MediaNama) Jio Karnataka (user reported to MediaNama) Jio Maharashtra (verified by MediaNama) Jio Andhra Pradesh (user reported to MediaNama) Both users and Indian Kanoon have asked Jio for a copy of the government order which demanded the ban.
