NDTV's Ravi Asawa is no longer CFO of the company, as his 3-month notice period for resignation has come to an end today, per a BSE filing [pdf]. Asawa had announced his resignation in November, and has departed to "pursue other professional opportunities." Asawa was appointed as CFO in December 2017, when he was a senior VP of finance at the company. He has been with NDTV in various capacities since 2008, when he initially joined as VP of Finance. From 2013, he headed finance for IndianRoots.com. He has also served as finance head at NDTV Lifestyle Limited for 4 years, where he was responsible for finance operations and strategy of NDTV Goodtimes TV channel. Prior to NDTV, Asawa served as a senior manager at Xchanging and also served a managerial role at IBM Daksh. He has also been with Computer Sciences Corporation and Bridgestone.
