The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has appointed Arif Khan as its Chief Digital Officer. Khan will be based out of Mumbai and lead strategic planning for digital transformation, innovation, analytics and technology. Khan has spent 15 years with HDFC Bank where he worked on cards, payments gateways, mobile banking, micro ATMs, PoS service, and e-commerce among other things, according to his LinkedIn profile.
