Fabrento’s FabEvents to provide furniture rental for events

Fabrento, the online furniture rental start-up, has rolled out a new service called FabEvents where users can lease furniture for events payable per day, across the country. The company rents out furniture like sofas, chairs and decors, and this service comes with delivery and set up, relocation, cleaning and maintenance and swaps, free of cost. Depending on the furniture requirement, the price range for renting of furniture may vary from Rs 200 to Rs 20,000 per day. According to Fabrento, FabEvents services are extended to banquet halls, 5 Star hotels, conference, stage set ups, wedding and anniversaries. Fabrento also rents out furniture to other event management companies. Fabrento also has a "rent to buy" facility, which allows a user to buy a product they have rented from the company at a discounted price. Founded by Sidhant Lamba in 2016, Fabrento is backed by Continental Group which has been in the business of 'interior solutions' since the 1940s. Fabrento provides daily and monthly rental packages. These combined packages includes renting of furniture for the apartment, living room, office across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Mohali, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Ambala and Bangalore. One can also rent electronic home appliances from the renting facility. Competition Rentickle, founded by Vineet Chawla and Amit Sodhi in 2016, offers furniture and home appliances on rent. It received $250,000 seed funding in 2016 and $4 million in late 2017. RentoMojo, which provides home appliances and furniture on a lease/rental basis, was founded in November 2014 by Geetansh Bamania and Ajay Nain. Furlenco was launched in 2012. Founded…
