By Nikhil Cariappa Quikr has launched ‘Assured’, a guarantee for used products across its verticals, reports Inc42. While Inc42 says that Assured will be available for all of Quikr’s verticals, on its website, Quikr only lists Assured items from furniture, electronics, mobiles, services, cars, bikes and PGs. Quikr Assured was launched earlier this year, and will look to integrate with Quikr Certified products, according to a company statement. “QuikrBazaar, our goods vertical which allows consumers to buy and sell anything pre-owned, launched its certified business over a year ago. It started with mobiles & tablets, and based on the strong consumer demand on its platform, it quickly expanded its product line to include furniture, laptops, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, ACs, and music systems among others”, it said. In case of QuikrHomes PG, the company claims that the assurance for tenants would be in terms of repairs, meal services and 0% brokerage, while assurance for owners would be in terms of timely rent collection from multiple tenants. Assured products will be checked for quality, refurbishment status, and will have a 1 year warranty the report added. Quikr launched Assured for smartphones this August. Acquisition-expansion In the last 2 years, Quikr has been on an acquisition spree to expand its services and user base.
