Aditya Ghosh to head India and South Asia for Oyo; Rahul Pushkarna to head Twitter’s content partnerships in APAC

OYO Hotels has appointed former Indigo president Aditya Ghosh as its new CEO for India and South Asia. Ghosh will join Oyo from December, and report to Oyo founder and group CEO Ritesh Agarwal. As of now, Oyo's South Asia business exists only in Nepal, outside of India, but the company said Ghosh will be in charge of other markets in the region "when they are ready to go live."  Ghosh has been with Indigo for a total of 14 years, he has served as president since 2008. Prior to that he was the company's general counsel for four years. Ghosh was also on the executive committee of Indigo's parent company InterGlobe Aviations. He is also an advisor to Tata Trusts and helps lead their cancer care division. Prior to this business roles, Ghosh was a lawyer with corporate law firm J Sagar Associates.  *** Twitter has appointed Rahul Pushkarna as head of content partnerships for Asia-Pacific (APAC), he will be based out of Singapore. According to his LinkedIn profile, he will work to bring on sports, entertainment and news publishers on Twitter. Pushkarna had been with Sony Pictures as director of sales development for Asia for a year. Prior to that, he was head of digital for INSEA at 21st Century Fox for around four years. He has also been with Microsoft briefly and with NBC Universal for four years out of Singapore.
