Milind Khandekar, former managing editor of ABP News has joined BBC India as India digital editor. He was with ABP News for 14 years, and has been in journalism for over 22 years. He was previously with Navbharat Times and Aaj Tak.

Paytm Mall has hired over half a dozen executives to head verticals across marketing, monetisation, merchandising and so on. Coming on board are Srinivas Mothey from Giftingnation, Milind Pathak from Httpool, Nikhil Dhoka from BrownTape, Utkrisht Kumar from Hopscotch and Rohan Chhazed from ZoomCar, among others. Paytm Mall plans to expand its team to 1200 people from the current 800.

Paytm Money has appointed former executive director of Central Depository Services Ltd Cyrus Khambata on its board of directors. Khambata has served as managing director of CDSL Ventures and CDSL Insurance Depository.

Sachin Arora, formerly a director of software development at Amazon, has joined fintech startup Chqbook.com as a board member and chief of technology and product. He was previously the CTO at BankBazaar and Myntra.

Taranjeet Singh, former country head for Twitter India, has joined Zee Entertainment’s video-on-demand service Zee5 as Chief Revenue officer. Singh will head new projects and report to Zee5 CEO Tarun Katial. Singh was with Twitter for four years until he resigned last month.

Chief Marketing Officer of Myntra and head of Jabong Gunjan Soni, and Myntra’s chief strategy officer and head of categories Ananya Tripathi will leave the firm by the end of 2018. Soni will move to Singapore-based online fashion company Zalora as CEO. Tripathi will join global investment firm KKR as an operating partner.

Myntra-Jabong CEO Ananth Narayanan will continue to head Jabong, while Manohar Kamath will take over an interim head of categories along with his current portfolio of Myntra Fashion Brands.

Hotstar has appointed Samir Kapoor as vice president for agency ad sales. He was formerly with Google as head of brand measurement for India & Southeast Asia. He has also been with Starcom as vice president where he oversaw the Samsung account, Madison World as General Manager, where he handled Bharti Airtel.

Online matrimonial platform Matrimony.com has appointed Jaikumar KP as senior vice president, he will head the sales and operations of Matrimony Photography, which claims to have completed 15,000 weddings. Jaikumar KP has previously been with Reliance Life Insurance, Birla Sunlife and Cholamandalam Investment & Finance.

Pepperfry has reshuffled top management; Hussaine Kesury, who was heading the furniture vertical will now be ‘chief activation officer.’ He will be responsible for physical retail outlets. Mihir Kulkarni, who was head of marketing, is now vice-president and will head the furniture vertical. Alok Varma, who was with the company for 6 years previously, is back as head of studios. Ratika Bakshi, who was design head at Nestopia, has been appointed as head of business expansion.
