Httpool has become the official reseller partner for Facebook’s ad sales in the Balkan region, through a Facebook partnership. Httpool will provide ‘support, knowledge and expertise’ to local businesses and help with marketing strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp. Through the partnership, ad agencies will also learn about best practices, training, strategy, and local payment options along with direct billing and support with ad policy issues. In September last year, Httpool became Twitter’s new ad partner in india. Httpool was acquired by Sony Pictures Television Networks’ subsidiary IMS Internet Media Services (IMS) in July 2017. It began its India operations in 2011, and launched its self-serving online and mobile advertising platform called AdPlatform in India in June 2012. Advertising revenue contributed 98.5% or $12.78 billion of total revenues, while payments and other fees contributed $193 million. Facebook’s mobile advertising revenue stood at $11.4, an increase of 57% YoY. It represented 89.2% of its total advertising revenue for the quarter, as compared to 84% of total ad revenue in the corresponding quarter the previous year.
