Twitter India’s country director Taranjeet Singh stepped down from his role after nearly four years with the social media company.

Singh joined Twitter India in January 2015 to set up business for Twitter in the country. Announcing his exit on Twitter, Singh wrote that Twitter India has hired more people, and diversified their client base across the country. Before his four-year stint, Singh held roles in the media and news industry: he was leading sales for South Asia at BBC Worldwide for nearly three years, after leading advertising sales for India.

Twitter in bringing in its global head of revenue strategy and operations, Balaji Krish as interim head until they find a replacement for Singh.
