Two senior Ola executives — Saikiran Krishnamurthy, senior vice-president, growth and Joy Bandekar corporate president of new initiatives — have quit the company, reports the Economic Times. We've written to Ola and will update this when we hear from them. According to the ET report, Krishnamurthy will now be working on his own venture, while Bandekar will move to work in the B2B e-commerce startup Udaan as its founding partner. Bandekar will, however, take up an advisory role at Ola, according to the report. Prior to joining the company from Flipkart in September 2017, Krishnamurthy served as a director at McKinsey. Bandekar also joined the company from Flipkart in December, 2015. Ola's recent hires and exits for 2018 In July, Ola appointed Simon Smith as Managing Director for its operations in Australia. In May, Ola’s COO Vishal Kaul resigned from the company to join a new organisation. Kaul had joined Ola in January 2017.
