Network18 names Rahul Joshi as its new Managing Director

[caption id="attachment_186854" align="alignright" width="240"] Source: Twitter[/caption] Network18 Media & Investments Limited (Network18) has elevated Rahul Joshi as its Managing Director for a term of three years with effect from July 9, 2018. Joshi has been associated with Network18 Group since September 2015 as its CEO--News & Group Editor in Chief. Also, Kshipra Jatana has resigned from the post of Manager of the company with effect from July 9, 2018. Prior to joining Network18 Group, Rahul worked for more than two decades with Economic Times. During his stint, he also launched ETNOW and worked closely at ET Online. Rahul has also worked with The Indian Express in the past. Rahul is also on the board of News Broadcasters Association (NBA). Moreover, TV18 Broadcast Limited (TV18), the news broadcasting arm of Network18, has also decided to appoint Joshi as its Managing Director on receipt of necessary regulatory approvals. [caption id="attachment_186855" align="alignright" width="250"] Source: LinkedIn[/caption] Besides this, Viacom18 Media Private Limited (Viacom18), the entertainment broadcasting arm of Network18, has also elevated Sudhanshu Vats as its Managing Director on receipt of necessary regulatory approvals. Vats have been associated with Viacom18 from last six years and is the Group CEO of Viacom18 currently. Prior to joining Viacom18, Sudhanshu worked with Hindustan Unilever (Unilever India) for 20 years, where he worked in Sales & Marketing and General Management roles across categories for household brands. Sudhanshu is also Chairman of the National Media and Entertainment Committee of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), Vice President of IBF (Indian Broadcasting Foundation)…
