Viaan Industries, a company promoted by businessman Raj Kundra and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 7.53 crore for the last quarter ended March 31, 2018 (Q4 2018) compared to Rs 5.16 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. This represented a year-on-year growth of 47%. The company in operates in three verticals – Licensing technology, Gaming & Animation, and Wellness. Meanwhile, consolidated revenues for the quarter stood at Rs 70.8 crore compared to Rs 54.3 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year, growth by 30.3% on a year-over-year basis. Viaan Studios has its own games on both iOS and Android, including Domestic Diva, iQLive, Sniff, Survival Block, Operation Reboot and The Adventures of Ali & Baba, which it lists on its website. MD and Chairman Raj Kundra said in a statement the company is working on introducing 5-6 games in this financial year. The company does not provide segmented results of its operations. But it shared some metrics, like, Shilpa Shetty- Domestic Diva, is a restaurant story game with recipes curated by Shilpa shetty, where anyone can cook all kind of dishes. Since the launch in the month of January, it has reported lakh downloads so far. For its 3D series called Adventures of Ali Baba, the company has already sold India rights, for Hindi and English, to a broadcaster and the series will be aired this financial year.
