Mobile advertising platform InMobi has appointed Marc Steifman as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Marc will report to InMobi’s Founder and CEO, Naveen Tewari. He will be based out of the San Francisco office. Marc was previously working with an investment bank focused on growth companies. He served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Piper Jaffray’s Technology Investment Banking Group. His transaction experience includes advising on M&A, IPOs and raising private capital across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, the company said in a statement. Tewari said that his appointment comes at a time when Inmobi is looking at inorganic growth; and exploring newer dimensions of our business. Before Piper Jaffray, Steifman was Managing Director at Jefferies and Co. and Bear Stearns, and Vice President at Prudential Securities. Marc graduated with an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College, and holds a degree of MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. InMobi's top-management rejig In October, InMobi had appointed former Flipkart executive Ravi Krishnaswamy as its new chief technology officer. Ravi filled in the vacancy after company's co-founder Mohit Saxena stepped down from his position of CTO. He had announced the same in a tweet. In the October again, company's chief marketing officer Arun Pattabhiraman had quit the company (via VCCircle). Late last year, InMobi's second co-founder Amit Gupta also quit the company to start his own venture.
