Equifax appoints K M Nanaiah to head operations in India

American credit rating agency Equifax has appointed K M Nanaiah to serve as the Country Head of Equifax India. In his role, Nanaiah will look after company’s both the Bureau (ECIS) and Analytics businesses (EA) in India. Prior to Equifax, Nanaiah worked at Renoir Management in various senior roles. Before Renoir, Nanaiah was Managing Director of Pitney Bowes, India where he set up and led the country business unit for ten years.


Ace Turtle ropes in ex-Infosys Kapil Bhatia as CTO

Bangalore-based e-commerce solutions company Ace Turtle roped in former Infosys executive Kapil Bhatia as its new chief technology officer, reports VCCircle.  Before joining Ace Turtle, Bhatia worked as CEO at a online meat and fish ordering company Licious, and looked after technology at an e-commerce marketplace msupply.com. He has worked with Infosys for five year on various senior positions. Bhatia has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Central Florida.



Treebo hires a new head for its HR functions

Bangalore-based online budget hotel aggregator Treebo Hotels has appointed Sonali Ramaiah as its new head of people function. In her new role, Sonali will lead all human resources functions at the company. Sonali holds 16 years of experience in the field of human resources. Prior to joining Treebo, Sonali worked at Boeing as the senior HR executive and was responsible for building the Defense and IT teams at the organization. In her previous roles, she has worked with the companies like Cisco, Philips, and Fidelity Investments etc. Sonali is a graduate from Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship.



CarDekho’s parent Girnar Software hired new HR head

Girnar Software Pvt. Ltd., which operates CarDekho, Gaadi and ZigWheels has appointed Pragya Kumar as its new Chief People Officer to look after company’s human resources functions, reports The Economic Times. Before Girnar, Pragya worked with Yatra.com for six years as head of its HR. She has a masters degree from Delhi School of Economics.


Hotstar appoints Punitha Arumugam to promote the platform

STAR India owned video streaming service Hotstar has appointed Punitha Arumugam as Platform Evangelist. Prior to this, Arumugam held senior positions in media segment. She worked with Madison Media as Group CEO for over 13 years, and at Google as Agency Director for over 5 years. Before this role, she was at Google where she led the organization’s agency business, first from India and later for the region from Singapore, as Managing Director, APAC Agency for Google APAC. She is also setting up her own firm in the communications tech space. She will be operating from Mumbai for her role at Hotstar.
