TripAdvisor partners Djubo to improve discovery of budget hotels

Djubo, a cloud-based hotels solution provider, has partnered with TripAdvisor to improve the discovery of budget hotels on the latter's platform. Djubo's meta-search marketing tool called Fireball has been combined with TripAdvisor's hotel price comparison tool and bidding platforms to offer budget hotels in India the option of directly displaying hotel offers to TripAdvisor users. Djubo provides an app-based centralized reservation platform. It also offers mobile friendly website templates for hotels along with a booking engine and payment gateway and provides online channel management for automated integrations with multiple travel aggregators. It claims that it manages over 40,000 room nights and more than 10,000 guests per day. TripAdvisor had first extended its Business Listings feature to Indian restaurants and property owners, which essentially allowed Indian hotels to get International exposure across all TripAdvisor-branded sites and consequently encouraged more direct bookings, back in April 2012. The Business Listings feature allows hotels to add direct contact information like website links, email addresses and phone numbers on their hotel listing page on the portal. Plus, the service also allow hotels to add special offers (if any) on these pages. Note that back in August 2015, The Ibibo Group, which operates Goibibo.com, redBus.in, Yourbus and ibibo Ryde, had acquired a minority stake in Djubo for an undisclosed amount. Following the deal, Djubo's product was integrated across all of Naspers' and Ibibo’s travel portals.
