Sandeep Amar has joined iTV Network, which also runs channel newsX, and a daily Sunday Guardian, as the CEO of iTV Digital. In his new role, Sandeep will focus on building the digital assets for iTV network and launch multiple new projects, and will be reporting directly to Kartikeya Sharma, Founder & Promoter, iTV Network. Amar said that iTV Network will be launching video platforms, digital video content for multiple platforms ,and will be using technologies such as (Artificial Intelligence) AI and Machine Learning for other projects. He also added that they would be focusing on mobile and vernacular content. Previously, Sandeep was the CEO of Indian Express Digital, from where he resigned after a year and two months, in July. Prior to Indian Express that, he worked as the CEO for India.com, a ZEEL and Penske Media JV, and was with the company for almost three years. In the past, he has been the head of marketing at Times Internet, where he worked for around five and a half years. He had a brief entrepreneurial stint, where he founded Pikboo.com.
