Arunabh Kumar steps down as CEO of The Viral Fever

We missed this earlier Video content company The Viral Fever's (TVF) Arunabh Kumar has stepped down as CEO, and chief operating officer Dhawal Gusain will now be the new CEO of the company. Kumar, who is being dogged by allegations of sexual harassment, posted on Twitter and added that he will continue to be a mentor to the content team at The Viral Fever. I have decided to step down as #TVFCEO pic.twitter.com/JKY5X7NL54 — Arunabh Kumar (@TheQtiyapaGuy) June 16, 2017 The alleged sexual harassment incident came to light after an anonymous Medium user named Indian Fowler accused Kumar of sexually harassing her at the workplace. The post is now taken down from Medium (Here is a cached version). However, TVF immediately reacted in a statement saying that “the article is completely ludicrous and defamatory against TVF and its team. All the allegations made against TVF and its team in the article are categorically false, baseless and unverified.” TVF still maintains that there was no employee in the company described by Indian Fowler. "However, it is a fact that we have found no records of any such person on our pay roll, in that given time period, as described in the (Medium) blog," the company said in a statement. As the incident was breaking, Nidhi Bisht, writer and actress at TVF, defended Kumar saying “we will leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations.” A day later, Bisht…
