Cdr Manish Tiwari (Retd) has 28 years of work experience including 25 years in the Indian Navy where he set up the Information Security & Incident Response Organization. In his last appointment, he represented the Indian Navy at all National Level Government forums, on issues related to IT security, for the protection of the National Critical Information Infrastructure. In Oct 2014 he took over as the National (Information) Security Officer India for Microsoft Corporation. Under his watch, Microsoft India has also set up a Cyber Security Engagement Center, the seventh such facility in the world, in Central Delhi.

Bruno Goveas has been with Akamai since 2004. He is currently driving Akamaiís Security business in the India region. Previously he was responsible for managing key Akamai Enterprise businessunit partner alliances in the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region. Prior to this Bruno was responsible for Akamaiís Product Management and Product Marketing functions in APJ. At Akamai, Bruno has held various sales, channel, business development, marketing and product management roles.
Following the initial two presentations, we’ll have an open discussion with those in attendance. The open discussion, with everyone participating for an hour or so, will be moderated by:
Vinayak Hegde – an independent consultant specializing in Big Data, large-scale software architecture and large-scale networks with more than 15 years of experience in building online products. He has bootstrapped several tech and start-up communities in India including Headstart and IIESoc. In the past he has been an early employee at Akamai India and Inmobi.
Nikhil Pahwa – founder and editor of MediaNama, with over 10 years of experience in covering the business of digital in India, covering content, payments, commerce, services and telecom.
