Xiaomi has introduced a preorder service for offline markets and large format retailers in India. The company will make its Redmi Note 4 available for preorder under the scheme, between the 14th and 17th of March across large retailers and from 16th to 21st march at offline stores in Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh. The device will also be sold, from the 18th of March at large retailers and post 22nd March at offline stores in the same cities. Overall, the device will be available in over 700 large retail stores of Sangeetha, Poorvika, Lot Mobile and BigC and over 1500 offline mom n pop stores. A full list can be found here. The device will retail at Rs 11,499, for the basic variant. This includes specifications like a Snapdragon 625 processor, a 4100mAh battery, a 13MP back camera and a 5MP front camera, 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and an expandable memory card slot. The device also features an IR blaster, a read fingerprint sensor, and claims will get updated to Android N soon. Interestingly, the company mentions that it will make pre-orders available across all of its products in the future. Note that Redmi Note 4 is not a newly launched phone - it has been selling exclusively on Mi.com and Flipkart from the 23rd of January, and Xiaomi claims to have sold 1 million units in the following 45 days.
