nexGTv partners Lokdhun, Sony LIV partners One Digital, Culture Machine launches Blush.me


Culture Machine launches Blush.me targeting urban Indian women

YouTube Multi-Channel Network, Culture Machine recently launched Blush.me as a content platform targeting urban Indian women. The Cheers section on the platform focuses on inspiring stories of women while Vanity section will feature beauty and style related content. The Unwind section will feature a list of the most happening things while the Let’s Gab is supposed to help women discover their inner voice. The platform also features UnBlushed and Blush original web series.

nexGTv partners with Lokdhun Telemedia

Subscription-based video-on-demand platform nexGTv has partnered with Lokdhun Telemedia Pvt Ltd to broadcast 138 films including 22 Punjabi movies like Diljit Dosanjh’s Jatt and Juliet 2 and Disco Singh as well as hit Bhojpuri movies of Monalisa, Ravi Kishan and Pawan Singh for users across the globe. Lokdhun is a regional content publishing company that produces, acquires, and distributes films, music, TV shows, and wellness related content on various digital platforms. Its claims to have over 50,000+ videos of 5,000+ artists in 10+ languages, with over 3,000,000,000+ YouTube views.

nexGTV has been building its content library by entering into several prominent partnerships for different genres of content. In December 2106, nexGTv partnered with Mosquito Entertainment acquiring worldwide digital rights for its kids edutainment content. Earlier in November 2016, the company had partnered with Web Talkies for the worldwide digital telecast rights to ‘Maid In India’. It also partnered with Culture Machine, apart from also acquiring the digital rights to UK-based comedy web series, ATtheCOUNTER.


Sony LIV and Sony Pictures Entertainment partner with One Digital Entertainment

Online video on demand Sony LIV and film studio Sony Pictures Entertainment have partnered with digital content network, One Digital Entertainment for the studio’s latest hollywood film, Passengers starring Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence. Rapper Raftaar, also member of One Digital’s creator network has created a rap track, Aadat for the film which has been exclusively launched on Sony LIV and will go live in theatres before the theatrical release of the film in English and Hindi. Passengers is scheduled for its Indian release on 6th January 2017 in 3D in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
