At the end of the quarter, JustDial was conducting paid campaigns 4,24,830 campaigns for advertisers as compared to 3,54,900 campaigns as of December 31, 2015, representing a growth of 20%. Divide the operating revenue by the number of campaigns, and it appears Justdial made Rs 4243 per paid campaign, down from Rs 4681 per paid campaign in the same quarter last year.  Campaigns are essentially paid featured listings/recommendations on JustDial’s search.

Net profit in during the quarter stood at Rs 27.44 crore growing 5.9% from Rs 25.91 crore. However, net profit fell 7.35% from Rs 29.62 crore from the preceding quarter.

It is worth noting that in Q2 FY16, JustDial had said that said revenue growth was hit as the company did not make adequate hiring for its sales team.  In the third quarter of the fiscal year 2016, the company said it would be adding more than 4,000 employees to handle sales for the company over the next 9-10 months.
