Bharti Airtel has appointed Badal Bagri as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its India & South Asia operations. Bagri will assume his new role at Airtel from January 16 and will lead the company’s finance team across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. He will report to Nilanjan Roy, Global Chief Financial Officer at Bharti Airtel.

Bagri has more than 22 years of work experience across several industry domains including telecom, FMCG, manufacturing among others. Prior to Airtel, he worked as CFO at Micromax for over 2 years. He also worked with companies including Genpact, and General Electric throughout his career.
