Tariff Wars: Jio’s FUP packs, Aircel’s bundled plans with unlimited calls & more

Reliance Jio's FUP packs Reliance Jio yesterday announced that it is extending its welcome offer of free voice/video calls and data up till March 31st 2017. However data usage is capped at FUP of 1GB per day from the earlier 4GB limit. Jio also announced two new data tariff packs to extend the FUP limit. Note that post exhaustion of FUP limits on both paid and free packs, speeds will be throttled to 128 Kbps. -Rs. 51 pack which provides additional 1GB of data with only 24 hours validity from the time of recharge. -Rs 301 pack for extending FUP limit to 6GB with a validity of 28 days. *** Aircel launches bundled data+voice packs Aircel has launched combo recharge packs for new customers at denominations starting at Rs 127 up till Rs 297. The pack is bundled with 3G data, and unlimited talk time. It is applicable on first-time recharge to new subscribers in Karnataka circles only. These include: -Rs 127 pack bundled with 300 MB of 3G data, Unlimited Aircel-to-Aircel local and STD calls with 30,000 seconds talktime on other newtorks (Validity 28 days) - Rs 197 pack bundled with 1 GB of 3G data, Unlimited Aircel-to-Aircel local and STD calls with 54,000 seconds talktime on other newtorks (Validity 28 days) -Rs 297 pack bundled with 2 GB of 3G data, Unlimited Aircel-to-Aircel local and STD calls with 10,800 seconds talktime on other networks (Validity 28 days) For new subscribers in Kolkata circle, Aircel is offering unlimited Aircel-to-Aircel…
